Currently, if a group is nested within another group, the logged in users in the nested group are not counted or displayed in the Group Status tab of the Status Monitor.
We use nesting to give automatic group assignments to permanent staff, having only casuals or floats required to use the "add me to" command for an auto logout group.
For example, the First Floor Housekeeping group is an "add me to" group with auto logout. The First Floor Housekeeping Permanent group is nested as a member of First Floor Housekeeping.
This allows all First Floor Housekeeping Permanent members to be automatically associated upon login to the First Floor Housekeeping role without needing to use the add me to command. Only members who used the add me to command are automatically logged out.
What we would like to see in the monitor is all logged in members of a group, including those automatically associated to that group via nested membership.
