We have the option to select “Nurse Line Draw” in Vocera Edge during specimen collection, which requires a witness. However, we’re having difficulty locating this information in both Vocera Analytics reports and Meditech. We have not seen this data flowing into the EMR, except for the username of the witness appearing as a comment on the Meditech lab site.
This information should be included in the Vocera lab report and should flow into Meditech as “Nurse Line Draw.” According to our interface team, this information should be sent in OBR 39.1.
