In order to get around the message/greeting length in Vocera we have had to create a link to our Telephone system creating a VDN to VN and on to an Info mailbox to play a message to then go back into the Vocera grp to contact the necessary service. Service wise this is used as a checklist to reduce the amount of inappropriate referrals. One of our services proved that it had reduced the inappropriate referrals by 53% which is very significant.
What we need then is basically an Info Mailbox/Extended Greeting within Vocera to keep this as stand alone and resilient as it can be rather than having to create external pathways out of Vocera. All this should be able to be done within Vocera.
