In our healthcare facility we have nurses that move from one department to another and its a good and bad thing that they can add themselves to any conference group . There are certain groups that may wear the ear pieces and therefore can speak more freely without too much concern of the call being overheard. The problem is that there are going to be people that aren't paying attention and may join this conference group but they do not use the earpieces. It would be great to be able to prevent this by limiting what groups certain people can join. Most of our users have no reason to join other conference groups and it would be great if we could say what groups users can join. I guess we could revoke the join conference permission for everyone then create a new group that has the join permission granted then limit who can join to any group but it would be better if we could add a user to the conference tabs for multiple groups. Then they could say "join the conference for (group name)" and if they aren't in that tab for the group they are trying to join they can not join. If you wanted to have a way to show which conference group that user is actively a member of you could put a green dot or box or what ever next to thier name in the list of names in the conference tab. If for some reason you wanted to be able to see it from the admin console. I can imagine this would involve a great deal of programming so I am by no means trying to say the ever so constantly heard "can't you just..."
