I have been intermitently "enticing" users or difficult trainees by giving them a name to call each day (Secret Hint of the Day) for a week.
For each day I would record the message of a hint or usage for Vocera and at the end give them another user name to call (Secret joke of the day).
Almost everyone has loved it, the only user complaint has been that any interuption causes the genie to stop the "greeting" therefore stopping the hint or joke... to which they either hang up or leave a message.
My complaint is having to change the recording each day... I know seems kind of petty, but a few people mentioned that it wasn't changing anymore so they stopped trying...
I did find it was easier to just record the joke after the hint... but then I couldn't separate the call volume.
So....
It would be a great new feature to be able to have multiple "Message of the Day" (MOTD) uh...groups.
Message of the Day, Joke of the Day, Hint of the Day, This day in medical history, Inspirational message, etc...etc...
The key to the feature would be the ability to sit down and record a group [of] messages at once... so a whole year could be done in an afternoon.
If the system did the recording or you had to import them with a certain naming convention it wouldn't matter... as long as you could get the messages done in batches.
Oh and the message would only get stopped or interupted from an incoming call... not from the user talking (like with a recorded "greetings").
