With the V5000 badge, there is an ability to run them in M1 mode which eliminates the need to purchase VMP licenses. M1 mode on the V5000 badge allows for alerts to be received through Engage and other interfacing systems. A comparable mode does not exist for phones running VCS. Eileen: What they really want is to be able to eliminate messages only but keep templates, VMI messages, integrations, alerts. Only want to turn of direct messages for badges/VCS.
