When in an active call, a vina user cannot silence an incoming call waiting. It is a loud and incessant zapping/chirping. The only way to silence it is to click the red "decline" button. On iPhone generally, you can click a volume side button to silence the incoming call. If that's not possible, please make the chirp less disruptive. A soft beep maybe and less frequent. Thank you!
Consider treating call waiting as a secondary interruption rather than a required decision.
In practice, this could mean allowing the call‑waiting alert to be silenced without declining the incoming call, based on an initial user “quieting” action such as a volume‑down press. After being silenced, the incoming call would remain visible and actionable via the UI or CallKit, but would stop injecting audio into the active call.
