Individual Calling Party Numbers for Sites Using Shared Telephony.
In shared telephony environments, it may be advantageous to be able to send different Calling Party numbers based on what site the call originates from.
This would reduce the number of grammars searched when the called party returns the call to the number received on their caller ID [CID].
Possible ways to implement could be:
- Add an option to use the Direct/Guest Access number specified in the Shared Telephony Info window for each site as the Calling Party Number when a call is placed from that site.
- Add a field in the Shared Telephony Info window that would define a sites call back number.
Our hospital desperately wants a way to get outbound caller ID of the group/user inside of vocera. today all devices just send the pilot number as outgoing caller ID.
