When logging out of a device, the user should be reminded when they have unheard vm or unread text message. We are in the process of rolling out VMP to all physicians and nursing staff. The nursing staff will be requesting notification on their badges. If they do not "hear" the chirp and leave for the day, they may miss the response from a physician. This can and will cause the next shift nurse to dulpicate a message to the physician who will probilby respond with "i sent that to ___". If the device prompted you that you have unheard message or unread text the user would then have the opportunity to relay the message to the next user or complete the path for patient care.
In Voice Server 5.3.0 an option was added to remind users on logout of any un-played voice messages.
