Staff at one of our facilities have had several instances of the phone waking up in their pocket, the call back button accidentally pressed which leads to patients and family members in the room hearing inappropriate conversations. They are requesting an additional button asking staff if they are sure they want to call back to the room.
Considering it's a HIPAA violation to have patient's hear conversations about other patients, this should be implemented.
If this option is implemented, this would mean that EVERY TIME the callback option is really selected, it's one more click that the user has to do to respond and we already have issues with users responding through Vocera. If we make this too cumbersome, we are just creating more work for the staff and delaying patient care to actually get to the bedside
