I just upgraded from 5.7.82 to 5.7.84 and same outcome max is 7.
I did test the variable and its works, but only up to 7 digits. So if I say “1443” it will work and if I say “1443-123” it works, but it will not still go past the 7 digits, so “1443-1230” it will remove the 0 at the end and say back “1443-123” (below is the properties snip in VS)
